1290 Mic Pre
The 1290 mic pre is one of the most iconic pieces of recording equipment every built. It’s the preamp section of the Neve 1073 channel strip. One of the other projects i’m tackling will be the EQ section from the 1073, so with the two pieces together, i’ll have as close as i can get to an original 1073. And it will be without spending 8,000$ for just one pre and EQ. In total, i’ll be building 8 pre’s. 4 in one chassis from Collective Cases, and two in dual single space rack chassis.
